Hi All,

Would like a bit more coaching great pity good bowlers always seen to busy to help in roll ups etc.

Some of my mates think there too good for coaching but lose when against good players.

Understand you can't install natural ability, but sure a few tips will help

I am never too busy to give advice to new bowlers. In fact if I wasn't disabled, I think I would have done a coaching course by now.

Hi Wooden Wheels

Its great that you take the time and effort to help new bowlers I have found that beginners are often ignored and no one shows them how to put their name up for friendlies etc and some of them feel left out we could do with more bowlers like you who are willing to share their experience and knowledge.

I would love to get involved in coaching but due to time constraints I would struggle to get along for evening sessions and weekends tend to be taken up with umpiring duties.

Would love to pass on some of the knowledge that has been given to me by some of my mentors. Think the main bit of advice would be simple though -
enjoy yourself, its only a game!

Evening Edinburghump

Like the saying its only a game

Keep repeating it to myself ever time I lose a game it still doesn't make it feel any better, about time I started to win something I am getting a bit old for this bowling lark I am not sure if I shall enter the County games next year I don't think I have the stamina to play three games in one day.
