What a Name GROUP FOUR

:(Had our AGM last night braved Gale force winds and battled down to the Club we looked like survivors huddled together waiting for the roof to blow off
Got an even Nastier Shock we are no longer going to be called Central or Southern Division, some new rule brought in because of Bowls England,

Wait for it its GROUP FOUR sounds like a security firm we are going to be playing with stickers that say Group Four,

Never heard anything so daft anyone else had their Name Changed

Group Four is a very apt name for some of the clubs we play against!!!!
they have some 'criminal' woods wick of anything, jack bounces up the green, pops out of the ditch, have seen it all at the 'Group Four' clubs,

Back to the Group Four name isn't that the name for the Security Group who transports prisoners and keep letting them get away,

If I was you I would hang onto the stickers saying GROUP FOUR could end up a collectors item, on a serious note could you not have objected to this name got to something more original and anything would have sounded better.

Don't tell me about it Surfer not sure what we are going to come under Souther Division sounded more dignified,

Missed the last meeting an awful lot of complaining going on they have put our subs up, the weather was so bad half the members couldn't make it, am wondering if they have to have a certain number of members for something to be passed.

Got a point there Snapper going to look into it, we were told it was too late to object but we could leave it till next year, be a bit late then everyone will have got used to such a stupid name,

Imaging turning up for a game and saying Group Four is here, its like being back in Primary School:(:confused:
