thanks for your welcome, I was asked to join as I am tours coordinator for the CBBA (costa Blanca Bowls Association) and what is known as a decent club bowler. It would take ages to go into detail but my wife and I have been bowling for over 20 years.:cool:
Hi Everyone have just had a look at this Spanish CBBA site, its really good gives you all the bowling Clubs that you would visit if you were doing a Club Tour, am going to pass this on the my Club Secretary though you might like a look,

Tee See I'm sure that you can imagine my relief at finding out that it is Terry. Best news since you told me that J.S.B. had had the p-lug pulled by some Russians.:roll:

Hi Snapper, if your club are loking to tour Spain, make sure you book early, rink space is limited at less than 6 months notice. Terry

Loved the CCBA site very interesting wouldn't be a bad idea if other Counties had all their Clubs on the same site, make it a lot easier for Club Tour Organizers
Great Site spent a good half hour looking at the Spanish Bowling Clubs wish we had the weather you get, over there nothing but rain today,

Renting is another option and it is a renters market at the moment.
We rented and let our property out, in West Wales, which paid for our apartment in Spain.
:rolleyes::rolleyes:
HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Hi Teesee,
Would love to do that & bowl in the winter Spanish sun, My wife who also Bowls is worried about the tenants damaging the house and she would want to put all our furniture in storage.
Have you had any problems???
Afternoon Bargain Hunt,
Talking in my club there is more concern living in Spain by gassing then robbing all valuables etc.
Sounds horrendous & expect not that wide spread but makes the news!
My wife was looking at several ex-pats web site & loots of talk about these robberies by Eastern Europeans that have flooded Spain!!
Don't sound good to me:mad::mad:

G'Day All,
Not a great story, seems that our boss is coming to the view that most of us have, below is news out today, Great:):)
Australia's immigration minister, Chris Evans, has announced policy changes to attract more highly skilled workers. He criticised the current trend for new arrivals to sign up for cookery or hairdressing courses to gain residency.
Mr Evans said Australia would abolish the current list of 106 skills in demand and review a points test used to assess migrants.
His comments were welcomed by the mining sector, which is struggling to meet China's demand for raw materials.
"We had tens of thousands of students studying cookery and accounting and hairdressing because that was on the list and that got them through to permanent residency," Mr Evans told Australian radio.
