Things Going Missing

This is a Tricky one, we have had a number of things go Missing Over this Season more than the usual pair of trousers and Cloths,
Special purchases were made for one occasion and they had definitely been taken, everyone is feeling very uneasy because they feel they are under suspicion, there is also the book and table sale where the money is left in an unlocked box because we have always trusted people,Other than lock everything up The Committee doesn't know what to do,

hi Peter,

Do agree one of the worst cases for any club irrespective of the sport, then when things are misplaced peoples first reaction that they have been 'nicked', the found at home etc.

Do hope the committee can quickly get on top of it, in the past weak committees try to hush it up, have found that a good debate at an A.G.M. about any concerns act as a great deterrent (although other things that have gone missing come out of the wood work)!!:wink:

Not known this in bowling, did hear that you need to be careful at Worthing as lapel badges can be cut off!! so nothing sacred these days!!

Hope talking about it stops the problem or everyone needs to be more careful!!:D

Last year one of the Clubs in our Division had a lot of purses and wallets go missing from the Changing rooms,
They sorted the problem by also locking the Changing rooms it did cause a bit of inconvenience and got some complaints,but its Better than having someone walking in and stealing valuables

Wish someone would come up and pinch some of the equipment for sorting out the green and do some work, last working party that was organized two Members turned up and neither of them had the puff to work more than ten minuets.
