About time Girls

Went down the Club today and came home smiling, its not before time we were treated the same as the men, they have had preferential treatment for years now playing all of their County Games over the weekend,
The Notice on the Board gave us the Day and Date of our National Competitions,

Nat 4wood singles Sat and Sunday Semi and Finals on another weekend
Nat 2wood singles Sat and Sunday " " " " "

Only complaint is we still have the Nat Pairs Triples and Fours still during the week but played over seven days,

This is a big step forward for Lady Bowlers still got a way to go, I am one person who is so pleased we are in one organization Bowls England

Had heard a few rumor's about this but never thought I would see it happen, us Ladies being allowed to play our County games over a weekend Woopie

Why haven't you Ladies complained before if it was such an issue about not playing on a weekend.
The Ladies were in control when your County games were played no use blaming the men they had nothing to do with it.

You said it Peter why is it that the men get the blame for everything, up until this year the Ladies ran and organized the dates on which they played their games,
As far as I know the men had no input, If anyone knows different I would like to know,

Fed up getting the blame for everything.

Hi Lady Bowlers (can I say that these days)!!!!

It's been an old chestnut from working bowlers that they are discriminated when it comes to county qualifying games as they are always at work and favours the non workers and retired!!!!

Have always agreed with this so maybe a good thing has come out of the amalgamation of the men & women!!!:)
