Hi All,

Takes me back the time my club did a bowling tour to Spain, I also will look out the photos in the next few weeks and post a few on the site.

We had a great time 2 week tour with 5 days of Bowling in September 3 years ago. Played against nearly all British people who have settled there and had a truly warm welcome and great time!!!!!

Look forward to reading some posts from Spain and seeing the pic of different Clubs on Tour,

I think a lot of Bowlers are feeling the pinch about touring and are staying more local,

Would love to go abroad if our Club were ever going to get it act together and arrange something,

Hi snapper,

Itīs O.K. for them to say īGo indoorsī, expect in Spain they can stay outdoors all winter on artificial!!

We have to put up with the artificial lights, funny heating systems and when someone gets th ecold we all do because the air just goes around!!!

Wonder if there is much Swine flu in Spain???:D

Evening Teesee,

Lucky you its raining cats and dogs down here in Cornwall, glad we are indoors now, do envy your weather must be nice to turn up and not have to worry about wet gear etc,
The Problem for me is the age range indoors, turned up this week to play a league game, and were a player short again, this particular Chap is starting to get forgetful and just doesn't turn up, wouldn't mind if it was only one person but you can never tell who will remember, am getting fed up phoning people telling them they have a game on,

Starting to feel like I should be a babysitter for most of my team,

Fed up Surfer from a wet and windy Cornwall:(

We do have to get the wet gear out sometimes but not often.
Some carpets puddle quickly, it is dependant on the type of under surface it is laid on, which means when it rains Stair Rods it is not long before we are off.
Babysitting ??? even an explicit time table doesn't work -- been there.

You get this idea that Bowlers in different Countries Spain included never have to play in wet conditions, I find outdoor artificial greens very difficult, played a few this summer and when it rained instead of getting heavier it gets faster, can still see my bowls disappearing off the end of the rinks,:(

Some people play well as soon as they move to Spain. Some people take a little time to get used to Outdoor Carpet conditions. After 8 years I am still trying hard.:p:confused:

Lost 10-0 at BBC. Sad result for 1st game. Can only get better.
Mary & myself had to drop out on Monday as I was called in to have an MRI, with drug injections, at Alicante Hospital. Hope the drugs improve my bowling lol.
It would not have made much diff., either way, if we were there. BBC have a very good team.

Will probably siesta then watch a good movie. Normal routine.....Weather in the 70s today and forecast looks fair. Keep Smiling...

Morning Everyone

Woke up this morning to a very Frosty Cornwall we have a field of Veg across the lane and I have been watching the workers who arrive at seven each morning and work non stop until it gets dark,
They are out there in this freezing Weather rain or Snow cutting Cauli with their hands, and I feel so sorry for them ,
When I go Into Truro you have the locals standing selling the Big Issue we are paying people to stay home and claim benefit,
What are we doing in this Country can see why everyone wants to live here We are a Soft Touch,
