Hi Gascan 36,

Bought at a great discount price a white set of Taylor Aces in WHITE, they really really stood out, although after a few ends the color did not make a lot of difference to me it was back to line & length.
My trouble was that I play a lot of single tournaments and found the swing on the Taylor Aces put me at a bit of a disadvantage so back to my old boring straighter set!!!

See a lot of spectacled bowls around of many colorers not sure about having a set specifically made?:)

Do let me know what you decide etc!!

Evening Gascan

Been bowling a long time and have never seen anything like the Bowls Pictured,
They would certainly stand out but its how they bowl that matters, think someone said on the forum a while back they would be bringing striped bowls out next to get us to part with our cash,
They mightn't be far off the mark.

This is from a very old Bowler who is still surprised at white bowls.

Well Gascab36 what can you say think Bowling has finally been liberated and not before time,Love the Bowls would like a set like those, as long as they didn't take too wide a swing,
Its about time we had some Color into the game and do away with the some of the ridiculous rules on dress code, epically among the Ladies

Hi All Colorful Bowlers,

Also love the colours!!!! Don't know the make of 'Stevens' in Lawn bowls, the bowl is completely different in running as the green has the crown in Crown Green whilst the wood has the bias in lawn bowls, sounds about right.

I'm sure if these coulors were available in lawn bowls they wood be a hit, not sure what the traditionalist would say????:)

Not sure what the Women in Cornwall would need to put them off the sandwiches and cakes,
Be a bit hard to ignore a chap in full Cornish Kilt showing most of his leg when you are having a Coffee?

Hi Everyone,

Great photos look as if everyone was having a bit of fun.

At times bowling lacks the fun element with everyone so busy and having to win everything!!!

Still of to find a kilt down the charity shop, wife thinks me legs wont look as good!!!!

Hi Bargain Hunt

Would take the Wifes advice about wearing a kilt, had the odd quick look in the mens changing rooms because they never close the door, not a pretty site, never seen such an odd assortment of white legs, would put anyone off their game,
