New Fromat next year for the Ladies

Only found out today that next year the format for the Ladies singles and pairs County Competitions will be different, and drawn before and played on your opponents green,
All the other Clubs have a form up explaing everything, but this is the first I have heard about it,
Does anyone know the details because getting information out of our Ladies Sectary is like getting blood out of a Stone, :roll:

Thats great news, my wife stopped bowling as she worked but found County competitions discriminated against working ladies & only those who could play during the working week could enter!!

At last it sounds as if your ladies age getting into the 21st century:D

I did hear that Bowls England were being sued by a Bowls Club up Country because Ladies who worked were paying the same subscriptions, as the men but couldn't play because all the Ladies games were in the working week,
Not sure if this is hearsay or fact am going to try and find out, could be this is why they are making changes so quickly to the format for the Ladies County games,

Hi everyone its about time something was done, the men have their league games in the evening because some of them work, what about the

ladies who work and all their league games are arranged during the day,

I have a friend who only get a few games a year and she pays the same fees as the men but only gets a quarter of the benefits,

About time something was done about giving the Ladies the same benefits as the men,

I think all the Ladies are very pleased with any changes that will make it easier for Younger members who work to be able to play in these competitions,
What we would really like is to have our County Competitions like the mens on a weekend there are bound to be enough greens free to be able to do this.

Found the list of changes to the Ladies games tucked away among the not so interesting tea lists, looked like someone was trying to hide it,
Didn't do me a lot of good had forgotten to take my glasses couldn't see a darned thing, did get someone withe good eye sight to read it out, will have to go back and study it one good thing is all the dates of games were there,
Any change in my opinion is good and not before time.

All of the Ladies are talking about the changes to the games next year, quite a topic of conversation ,

The only change I have seen is the mens and ladies have a competition board with all next years County and National games on,

The big change is we have to put the fees in an envelope and put in the box provided,

Before at the Ladies AGM the treasurer would have worked out all your competition fees and you paid her,

As I have entered our fours and triples and pairs I shall have to phone everyone and see if they want me to put in their fees and collect them

Gets very complicated going to have to sit down and work everything out,
