We have a rebellion going on with our D team, with a number of players from one team threatening to pull out of the mens league for the rest of the Season,
What has been going on is they have a youngster who is very good playing in the Captains rink,
But every time he doesn't turn up which is quite often, the Captain takes the lead out of the other rink , leaving them to play with only three players and losing a quarter of their score,
This Captain then had the cheek to tell them they have only won fifty percent of their games and need to do better,

Been some heated words in the mens changing rooms I can see trouble brewing, Our Club cant afford to lose any more players to other Clubs,

Hi Surfer,

This happened to me when I first started Bowling and found it very very annoying as playing with 1 short seemed to upset the rhythm on the rink.

No easy answer guess we should all start recruiting or more CLUBS/Teams will be lost!!!!:(

Hi we have the same problem when they are short they take the best players from our rink to put into the A and we get the elderly or beginners, Fed up complaining and Fed up getting swiped,
Seriously thinking of moving Clubs

No its not fair Your Captain is using players to make his rink look good, and he doesn't seem to care about the rest of his players,
I wouldn't vote him in as Captain I'm sure there are a lot of Members who have noticed this,
Not much goes unnoticed in a Bowls Club,

Blondie:rolleyes:

Hi All,

Good point Barbie, problem is no one else will be Captain, well thats what happens in my club!!

Often get bowlers talking in the bushes but not prepared to stand up and be counted + do a bit of WORK!!!!
