Well Folks
We played Wiltshire at Topsham yesterday, winning by 41shots overall and are now thought to the semi finals at Lemington on the 25th July,
Some of our Ladies had spent time decorating Hats in black and Yellow, got to say a big thank you for all the support and encouragement, makes a big difference when you are on the green,
It wasn't a quiet coach trip home with a lot of singing we are all looking forward to the next game
So wish us luck
A Very Happy Snapper from Cornwall:D:D

You will definitely hear and see the Cornish supporters, they usually shout Oggie Oggie Oggie and make some racket,
Only hope our Girls don't let them down we are keeping our fingers crossed we make it into the Final

Hello Snapper I know all about OGGIE, OGGIE OGGIE was a Devonport man in my Navy days. Was in Penzance in August 1956 as regarra gaurdship ( HMS OCEAN ) when we was wisked away in the middle of the night and sent to Cyprus.
Hope that young Lady is still waiting for me to come ashore. Never did get her address to write to her.

Morning Everyone
Been following this thread with interest, Good Luck on the 25th at Lemington,
Hi Umpire you sound as if you have had an interesting career, you never know one of the Cornish Lady Bowlers, might be the girl in question,
Might have changed a bit in looks and size you will have to give everyone a closer look, never know might recognize someone,

Got to say Congratulations and Good Luck to one of Our Other Cornish Ladies who is Going to Lemington after winning thought in the National over singles,
Will probably stay over a few more days when up there to watch her play and give her some support,

Well Bowlers
The Cornish Johns Team sat off on the Coach at nine in the morning for Lemington,
Stayed overnight and played Next Morning, and what a disappointment they lost overall by one shot, one rink went down by 23 shots four rinks won and one drew.
It was a very disappointing end to a great game, think everyone would rather have lost heavily than by only one shot,
I know every player was thinking if only,
Am trying to put some pictures on but seem to have a problem might
Good Night from a very tired Bowler from Cornwall:(
Morning Snapper
Am really sorry your Johns Team didn't make it, one shot you came so close,
Could say theres always another year, but I know how you all must be feeling, but you did get to the finals so they are to be congratulated,
Did see the pictures on Members Photos, of the Cornwall Supporters wonderful to have that support,
