new indoor bowler

Hi have just started playing indoor bowling, I would love to go on holiday, in the winter months, can anyone tell me if they know of any tournaments I do not think i could spend a week playing with hubby alone, could be divorced by Christmas, thanks.

Nice to welcome a new bowler, I Have heard of a very good tournament at Torquay it is in the Carlton complex. The competition is called the spot light. And is around the Christmas time. It is for mixed teams of four, if you have bowling friends it would make a wonderful break, I believe the prize money is about a thousand pounds, I am sure if you contacted Torquay tourist they would have all the details.

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, when we went to Tunisia, and stayed at the Hammet Garden Hotel, it has a lovely out door artificial bowling green, they supply shoes woods, everything you need, a lot of the guests got together and held our own bowling competitions, a number of people had never bowled before, it was excellent!!!!!!
