my green opens on the 19th, still got the winter blues

Just spent all of last Saturday, getting the green and club house ready for this season, why is it that only a small number of members, do all the work, weather is still dreadful.:confused:

Got the same problem pal, not a lot of workers, the rest like to moan.

Got the same problem, a lot of people who know all the answers, but not :( good at turning up for working parties. :(

Well its our opening day today so its all go! will let you know how it went!

Had our open day sat, bit cold and windy, managed to get a few woods up the green, faith tea was good, just glad the season has started.:p

Well the day went well, hope everyone else is underway. I was given a handwarmer that takes lighter fluid, will try and post some photos

Just the same as last year, our first friendly was called off today, because of the rain, fed up, want to get out and bowl. .:confused::confused:
