Hi everyone,
Just came back from a great tournment. It went for 3 days. 3 games of 15 ends on Saturday, Sunday and 2 games on Monday. It was fours ad entry was $60 each. FOr that you got lunch both days( roast 2nd day) breakfast was $3 for hot breakfast( bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast sausages etc)Prizes were $1000 each for winners, $600 2nd, $400 3rd, down to 7th wich ws $200, we just missed out on 6th , but got best 2nd day performers which was $200( $50 each) great time lovely greens but a bit cold, luckily no wind. We lost 3 games all on the same green. They had 3 greens. We unfortunatley paid the 2nd 3rd and 4th winners , at least we beat the 4th team. There were 34teams. Very tired early to bed this week
$13,000 in prize money. Sounds like a good tournament Bundy.

Really like the sound of your Tournament, and would like the prize money better
We have our Club Tournament in August but nothing on the scale you have in Australia our prize money is about £50 pounds for singles to £100 for rinks, we do get some people who travel down from other Clubs, and everyone tries really hard not to let them win,
It gets very intense when we have a team playing someone from another Club
Get a lot of Shouting and Cheering for the Home Teams Great Fun

Hi Bundyboy you did well to get that far would enter that Tournament just for the food, could cope with that any day of the week, her indoors is on one of the Summer Diets which means I go on one, starting to look like a rabbit,
Do sneak out with the excuse of taking the dog for a walk, and buy a Pastie
Wish we had the facilities for Bowling that you have, we wouldn't be able to cope with thirty four teams,
Never know if we win the lottery we might get some Clubs like yours

You are a bad boy Pasties indeed, you were telling us that wet suit was getting tight last year,
Naughty might have to fork out to get a larger one, and thats the white trousers as well,

Everyone seems to be talking about Pasties guess its the hot Weather, picked up the application form for our Club Tournament in August last week,
But it looks like everyone has had enough Bowling and I am struggling to get anyone to go in the Teams
Have noticed an increase in the number of Clubs doing Tournaments, and we are being swamped,

The Clubs should get together and have joint tournaments, better prize money and more entries,
Try telling that to the Committee they have tunnel vision on most things

Hi All,
A few decent tournaments around the home counties in the U K these days with some decent bread!!!!!
Only trouble is that you got to win them with a lot of trophy chasers around!!!
Still all good fun.... I think

Hi All,
Mounts bay got off to a good start despite the rain/drizzle for most of the morning.
The Final rounds have for this year been moved to the 'Penlee' green. A magnificent green by the sea it's most admired by our holiday makers!!!8-)
