G'day Kiwi, I played in the 2000 Manuera Pairs and really had a good time across the ditch.It took a lot of conconcentration 'cause of the speed and grass. I was drained at the end of every day

Congrats to Karen, and it is a shame young Vic gun Todd Simmonds couldn't get the better of Kiepe, who is another top young bowler and bloke. I've seen him in action a bit at the Victorian Master Singles

That's it. 3 greens all at different levels and when it poured the bottom one flooded quickly, we were playing on the top green and had to play in the rain until our rink became unplayable !!Hi Red, was that "Manurewa" ?

Hi everyone,
Its nice to see that you bowlers over there are starting your bowling season, its just about finished in Melbourne. I have one more tournament in the Riverina, its a 3 day tournament. There will be 34 teams. I have finally got 3 other players to come along( even though its a 4 1/2 drive).
Hope we do well. Weather can be a bit iffy!!!
I am still painting the daughters house, boy are those browny points accumulating..I get more points for talking the wife to the Riverin, all the bowlers are as well.

Hi Bundyboy sounds like you are going to enjoy yourself, love tournaments we usual start ours end of August,
Yours sound so much bigger with that number of teams we have very few greens that would accommodate this amount of players
Have been nagging Hubby all winter to do a bit of decorating so his brownie points are nil, he did buy me a hacienda barbecue yesterday so all is forgiven, mind its still in the box in the garage waiting for him to put it together?????

Hi Everyone

Know what you mean about putting things up, went on a Holiday with someone who had a caravan,
Never Ever Ever will I try and put up an awning again, it was taking off with me hanging onto one of the poles
Never spent such a miserable time, cold wet windy

Camping is not for the faint hearted, Mind you when the weather is good Cornwall is a beautiful place with some fantastic beaches,

But have seen some poor sods walking around in the rain dragging the children around (Need the weather)


I'm not doing a very good job at encouraging Holiday makers to Come to Cornwall could be I'm trying to keep it all to myself :D:D
