What do you reckon Girls if we can beat the men after this display of running, think they should do the London Marathon got more chance of winning that
They do look very determined but the game was played in good spirit and everyone enjoyed themselves

Especially the Ladies Johns Team :D:D:D

Back to your Tiger Twos, noticed they are getting popular with Bowlers who lead, one of our girls has a set and she is in both the Club Singles Finals,

Gave my heart a bit of a flutter then, had all sorts of thought of you modeling perhaps even in the noddy for some Lady's Art Class, glad you explained,

Its always good to have some sort of hobby with the winter night drawing in, but I know what you mean about things being expensive, started

making greeting cards Birthday etc, and got quite carried away by the time I had finished I had spent no amount of money, they looked really

good and I did enjoy doing them, had a reality check in town one day went into a card shop they were charging something like sixty pence per card,

Haven't done anymore since still got a hundred or so cards hanging about will have to live a good few years to use them up.

Yes Wrong Bias the picture was taken off Ilfacombe pier down in Devon the anglers looked like they were enjoying themselves,

Her Indoors insisted we went on a Boat trip on the Ilfacombe Princess a small boat which took about one hundred passengers,

Spent an hour and a half looking for Sammy the Seal all you could hear was this guy on the loudspeaker saying Oh there he is can just see his

head no Sorry he has gone again, had all these poor holidaymakers looking round these caves and rocks in search of this elusive creature,

After an hour I would have gladly paid him a tenner to shut up or else produce a stuffed seal,

Got to laugh I was one of the poor twits who paid sure the only Seal anyone ever saw was in the Shops,

Hi Blondie,

Have tried playing the artificial during the English winter, Cold is one word that comes to mind.

If you are near an indoor I would not hesitate, can't get on with short mat & I recon that indoor helps me outdoor when the greens are realy swinging!!!

Outdoor in the winter my hands just can't grip the woods thats when it's dry!!

best of luck

Hi All,

The forces always have and do provide solid employment unfortunately these days there are so few worthwhile jobs.

All that is built these days are supermarkets etc, I do have a great worry haw our grandchildren will be able to afford to shop in supermarkets as no investment for future jobs.

A lot of youngsters are coming into bowls around our way despite the great obstacles of 'child protection etc', many are also leaving bowling when education/girls come along but no doubt they will return in the future!! (there be no jobs to go to).
