Swishing Evening at Club

Hi Everyone

Had our Ladies Spring Meeting and the usual topic came up about raising funds, think this is all we ever talk about now
Someone had this suggestion that we should have a Swishing evening,
I had this mental picture of people swinging large branches about, but as usual I had got this wrong
What you do is everyone takes two items of good clothing along we pay two pounds, raffle, tea and biscuits, and you swap your items
Anything left over is given to the Local Charity Shop
The most amusing comment was that we were recycling our Clothes
I have been told this is catching on as a great way to raise funds, all us ladies were sitting eying each other up, to see who was the same size ?????

Could be a fun Evening will let you know, might go better if the bar is open Angel:D:D

Hi Angel

This is a New One on me haven't heard of this, but anything different from the coffee mornings and stalls will make a change,

Can see this taking off as we all have a few New Clothes which were bargains we got in the Sales, get them home and they look hideous

So might as well pass them on to someone else, who will look equally hideous in them,

Should be a giggle let us know how your Swishing evening goes :D:D
