Cleaning the Club

Hi Folks our Club has had to let our Cleaner go, because of the cost we were paying her all year including the winter which I think wasn't necessary as the Club doesn't get used much
The Committee are putting a rota together and the players will each have to do the cleaning for a week, this has caused some heated discussion a lot of the Lady's are saying the men should be included, as they use the Club and no one wants to clean the Gents toilets,
Everything is up in the air at the moment we are waiting to see the final list

Don't see why cleaning the Club is a problem, do it at home for the Wife, will always get a few men who wont,

Why did your Club employ someone, all the Bowling Clubs I know the members take it in turn to do this work

Hi I think the men do all the manual jobs like the green painting etc, surly the ladies can do the rest like cleaning the club
If you don't have a green no one can play cant expect the men to do both jobs

Got to be done if your club cant afford a cleaner its a good idea to get the members to pitch in and help

Might be a bit old fashioned but the men do a lot of other work, wouldn't hurt the ladies to clean will probably get hung drawn and quartered for this comment
