Good Evening Bowlers
We have about nine weeks to go till our Club Tour, and we have some members from other Clubs who are coming to make up numbers
Without these Bowlers we wouldn't have enough people to be able to have a Tour
The only fly in the Ointment is Some of the Committee are insisting on everyone wearing Club Colors
That would mean the Bowlers standing in would have to buy shirts and jackets which for four days is absolutely ridiculous wouldn't make any sense at all
The Committee are not going to budge think its a power struggle can see the Tour being Canceled they are going to have a meeting to sort it out
Any Suggestions Folks bit of a tricky one,

Its Only a Club Tour which is supposed to be a fun thing, couldn't they make an excepting and let your Bowlers who belong to another Club play
in Whites, its not like its a County Game
Cant expect people to buy shirts and jackets for a four day Tour wouldn't be surprised if these Bowlers pulled out :(

Oh for Goodness sake its only a Club Tour, having one or two people wearing whites is not going to make any difference
Can see why we struggle to get new people taking up the sport, People cant afford to but new kit for a few days
Ridiculous Angel:confused::confused:

Never heard such a ridiculous thing who's going to buy a complete bowls Kit for a four day Tour, and better still who can afford it, if it was me going on with this particular Club, I would tell them to stick it pardon the language, makes you feel like that they need to get a grip on reality
Must be Grumpy this Morning if I wasn't before I am now
Hi Everyone
Got to be a compromise somewhere, we always have a few people from other Clubs Join us on Tour to make up numbers, can be difficult getting enough members to make it financially viable
And they play in white most Bowlers have this because of County Games never heard of a Club insisting on all players wearing Club Colors
All right if its Club Games but tours are a short holiday at the start of the season to get a bit of practice,
Still shaking my head at this one:roll::roll:

Morning from a dry and Sunny Cornwall
This is correctness gone mad see why we cant get younger people to take up the sport watched blackball last week got it as a Christmas
Present they had a big to do about some cheese and biscuits brought it home to me about how some small petty thing can be made into a major
issue
Don't know what else to say never heard of this happening before

Hi Bowlers and Dress code Nutters,
It would seem the most sensible thing to do is for the non Club Bowlers
to borrow the 'Spare', shirts for the Tour, most well run clubs have a supply of shirts for any one turning up at league matches without the correct strip etc.
When my club went on tour last year we had several from other Clubs to make the numbers up, the tour committee decided wisely to play in whites to same complications etc!!!
Suggest some forethought should have gone in bl the committee!!
