Jokes for Captain

Hi All,

I have been 'fortunate', to have been elected Captain of my outdoor Club for the next 2 years. At the moment I am busy completing a 'Joke Book' to carry me through.

Would like to thank 'Worldbowler' for the jokes section this has given me a tremendous start with my joke book to entertain the troops!!

If any of my fellow posters have ant decent clean jokes I would be very grateful if you could send them to me via a 'private message'.

Hi Del have you had a look at the Jokes on the home page got a few New ones at the bottom, some of them would be good for your speeches

They are not Bowls Jokes but very funny :D

Have heard some cracking jokes when our Captain gives his speech after Faith Tea,
He has a book of them all written down he guards it with his life not sure but I think he has collected them over the years
Will try and remember a few and make sure I send them on :D

Hi Del had this rhyme at home it might come in useful ,not easy finding new jokes good idea of yours asking Bowlers if they have any would think you will get a few good ones


If you can always roll the jack, right at your skipper's feet,
If you can always draw the shot, the one that must be beat.
When asked to play a 'yard on' do you judge it to perfection?
And when you're called to drive, can you always make correction?
If you can come up smiling when the other bloke,
Puts your good shot out of play and treats it as a joke.
