What a Situation

Hi Everyone

Got some situation down our Club at present, One Member has just gone off with the Wife of another Member and their is all hell going on
Its such a shock and the whole club is gossiping
Thing is we have the raffle night tonight with a singer coming and both Couples have bought ticketsThe committee had a meeting today on what to do, I think they are worried it might end up with a slanging match the tickets have been sold out people are only going because they are nosy it has never been this well attended before ????

Hi Sam it does happen, but not what you would expect from Bowlers they are supposed to be retired couples

Bet some people are having a field day but it is sad epically at this time of year and you can never tell what goes on in a marriage

Its a great shame they are both from the same club best thing would be if none of them came to the social event

Hi All Bowlers etc,

How did the raffle go, talking to my mates over a Larger, (you can imagine) most want to know What was the first prize in the raffle.

On a slightly serious note, never does a club a lot of good, as it always becomes the gossip locally and makes one or two jealous in the Club,especially if they were slow getting in there

Mind you if you could see the Women in my Club you wouldn't buy a ticket!!!!!! Sorry Ladies, hope now reads this who know who I am!

Frankie you naughty man, and with Christmas coming up the Ladies in your club will be putting you in a raffle as the booby prize

But like you I am patiently waiting to hear the out come from the Christmas draw, strange how things always come to a head at Christmas time

Sorry Folks I have been so busy getting ready for Christmas I haven't had time to get on the computer
Well you are not going to believe this after all the fuss and the Captain calling a meeting not one of the Couples came, sure some of the Club gossips spent the entire evening watching the door
Its sad for something like this to happen epically as they both have grown up families
But I don't know whats going to happen will cause some awkward moments if they all insist on Bowling at the same club not to mention team selection :roll:

I am so pleased that there was no awkward moments at your Club, it really does do quite a bit of harm with all the comments etc.

I often wonder why people thrive on this type of Gossip!!

Should leave people alone nobody's business except the couples involved far too much gossip goes on in the Bowling World

Only reason is because the gossips haven't got anything going on in their own lives
Causes untold harm

Could cause some problems next year if all four people are still playing members of the Club
I for one wouldn't want to be on selection but have known worst situations which have worked out with time
Think its a wait and see situation things always work out

As you say snapper its a wait and see situation, everything always works out in the end no good worrying about things that might not happen

We had two couples who swapped over bit of a sensation at the time now nobody gives it a second thought Thats Life:rolleyes:

Where are all these Ladies who are going off with people, I haven't managed to see one yet all the bowlers am my club are well into the seventies and eighties and any that are available talk me to death spend most of the summer trying to escape, they don't draw breath got to be some normal lady who wants to spend some time with an old bear I'm not that bad girls :D:D

Any more news!!! every time I go into my local my mates keep on about this, why I don't know, possibly because it's a 'Bowling Club', and they should be past it!!!!!

Anyway still don't understand why it fascinates them so much.

Well Everyone its really sad but the couples involved look like its going to be a permanent situation with the Husband who left setting up home,

Think the Club has got used to the change the telling time will come when Next years County Competitions are played as both couples play in

nearly everything, I cant honestly say that I see all four People staying at the Club will be quite awkward if they do :(

Thanks for the update, how sad especially this time of year.

Somehow agree with other comments when this happens as other people seem so interested in other peoples lives just to make theres more interesting.

Keep me posted as I have such an uninteresting life.
