Get a real treat at Christmas our Men put on a wonderful four course Christmas Dinner for the Ladies with wine waiters in bow ties and entertainment to thank us for all the work in the kitchen that we do over the Summer months
I wonder how many Bowling Clubs do this for their Ladies thought I would put on a few pics to show everyone how well we are treated
Even got our County umpire with ears

Don't know what Club you belong to Snapper, but we could do with a few men like that at ours
Were lucky to get a cup of tea but they do the green and a lot of jobs round the Club
So suppose we cant complain but I am very envious, and they are not bad looking either:D wouldn't mind one in my Christmas Stocking epically if they can cook:D

Hi Snapper,

What a wonderful looking Club and more than that, a terrific idea!!!!

It all looks very professional and smart you must have great moral at the club?

My biggest worry is if the Ladies at my club read this post and think the men at our club could perform like this. (Thats not saying our ladies don't deserve it) creep creep!!

Great Photos

I think its a great idea you wouldn't get a table looking like that in a top hotel going to have a chat with our Captain sure the Ladies would love it
Not sure we could get the men to volunteer haven't seen any of them in the club kitchen except to make the odd cup of tea

Never know we might have a Jamie Oliver in among them somewhere ????

The Pictures of the Ladies Bowling Meal has put me in the mood for the Christmas Festivities, am really looking forward to the Parties
Only problem is will I still fit into the trousers and not have the panic of last year when my suit didn't fit
The mind tells you that you are the same and that you haven't put on a stone or so the test comes when you struggle to get into something you haven't worn since last year
Can feel another New Years Resolution coming on:rolleyes:

Always forget to take the camera and have regretted it later, know a few who never go anywhere without one

The table looks great making me hungry our club doesn't have the room to do catering like this or the members

But we always have a buffet lunch and a few glasses of wine, raffle and a good gossip and sort out the teams for next year

Gets a bit of Christmas cheer going :D

Now come on girls cant expect us men to take up cooking down the Bowling Club thats a ladies job
You would be expecting us to make the tea next, Only joking girls couldn't resist it, think its a wonderful idea you deserve a treat for all the hard work you do during the year
At my club we would be lost without the support of our ladies both on the catering side fundraising, raffle, cleaning the club and helping to run the bar and last but not least
When we play an important away match we always get a good crowd of supporters and I can tell you it does make a difference
Going to have a word with our Committee and see if we cant do something to show how much we appreciate their hard word

Peter your taking your life in your hands if you upset the Ladies, you wouldn't get any tea for the rest of your Bowling Career
This looks like a good club, know a club near us where the Ladies refuse to do tea for the men
They now have a rota for the men the B team make tea for the A team etc and it works really well
Don't see any problem for the men making a cup of tea

Hi Bowlers,

Know what you mean Pops, but it's fighting a bit like King Canute, the inevitable is happening MEN are beginning to have to do 'Ladies Jobs' (sorry Ladies) but thats how some of the old ones feel!!!

Might not be a bad thing (creep).

Hi Snapper and fellow Bowlers,

What lovely photos and a great thing for your club to do, am sure you all had a great time. It's things like this that makes it all worth while, at my club lucky to get a cold mince pie and a coffee, but the thoughts there.
