What Would you Do

Had a chat to a good friend of mine last night, he has a real dilemma
Last year indoors he played in a important game and got right the way through to the final which was quite a way away
The selection committee in their wisdom dropped him from the final and brought in one of the (Younger Super Bowlers) who is supposedly the cats whiskers
He had declined to play in any of the previous games because of work commitments
They asked my friend to be the sub which he declined
The chap they brought in came and played With a Hangover and they lost the game
Now this year they have approached him to play again problem is if he refuses he will not be picked for any of the more important games
What should he do:roll:

Heard of things like this happening before, hard to believe they can get away with it, he has two choices leave and join another club or
Tell them where to stick their game, Surfer8-)

Might not be as easy at that I live a fair distance from another club
would cost me a fortune to travel
He might have all his friends play in that club why shouldhe he move because they have made the wrong decision the players should get together and bring this matter up, If it happened to your friend it probably happened to someone else :roll:

Played indoors one year got to the stage where no one would play in these games, one chap who was a county selector ended up giving the position up, he was a real prat who thought he was bigger than the club

If someone doesn't like you epically in the Ladies, it wont matter how much you win or do they will always find something to keep you out of important games
As long as you enjoy your game you will get your revenge by beating a lot of these so called selectors :D

You cant be blackmailed I know it does go on, seen one lady who has been reserve for the county ladies for five years, she goes to every match and sits on the side line and watches,
They haven't won anything so far, what she must feel like she is a brilliant bowler and has won a lot more than the girls playing :(

The Ladies do have some talented Bowlers which are never picked,
Got a lot of old biddies on Selection wouldn't know good Bowling if it got up and bit them on the bum :roll:

This chap needs to get some backbone

And tell this Clubs selection what to do with their games

Would sit at home and watch tele before putting up with this

Needs to stand up and be counted:confused::confused:
