Hi there, just wondering do you get mosquitoes over there? It's still spring here yet they'er about already:(

No Kiwi Bowler haven't been bitten by any Mosquito's yet everything else has had a bite alway carry a cream to ward off the little nasties:D

Get a few things flying around on the greens in the summer, Thank God no mosquitoes if there had been they would have been wearing waterproofs and wellies this summer :D

picture? who mentioned picture:)some of my local pics plus spooky castle:)plus the island is called ailsa craig and they make curling stones from it granite,turnberry golf course is straight across from it,next years british open championship will be held there, the castle is called dunure castle and rumour has it that the guy who was the local earl or whatever called kennedy ,cant remember the date ,roasted a local abbot from a nearby abbey over an open fire,he actually survived the ordeal,infact he lived longer than the bloke that roasted him,all pics are taken from the castle

its a doocot (scots) ,dovecot ,used to keep doves in as a food source,also used their feathers for mattreses,and their droppings as manure

Hi Sam, not so much in NZ they just love to bite me. But more in the Pacific Islands where it's a lot hotter and they are these day getting what's called Dengue fever and people have died from it.

That sounds horrible especially as you can get very sick, got the same problem the midges ,see me and think lunch dinner and tea
But all we get are large bumps which are so itchy ooh and you dare not scratch because they get more itchy make sure you spray something don't want to loose you to some sort of fever Angel:D

Yes thanks for that:grin:, when we go to the Cook Islands we take lots of repellent with us. More for me as they love my fair white skin. We will be going there (the Cooks) next July 09 for my wife's Father's 80th Birthday.

i had a special cooler fan which the lappy sat on and you plugged it into the laptops usb ,kept it cool.the firms name is port,and cost about 30 quid the fan in the lappy needs cleaning or it will overheat

Hi Kiwi Bowler have been really busy today shall definitely put the Angel on Aviator be so much easier
Not sure where the time goes I have so much to do don't get as much time on the computer as I would like Angel:D

Never thought in a million years I would be sitting playing around on a computer
Its the best thing I ever did could have so easily not have bothered
When you get on a bit in years its hard sometimes to try new things
My day goes so fast can easily put in a morning or afternoon pottering around on line :D

If I am going to get any thing I will go on and compare prices
Its amazing how good a deal you can get on some things

Makes the winter nights go faster as well :D

But it can be worrying if like me you are on a pension which could or could not depend on the stock market

Came home so frustrated is anyone else finding indoors this difficult
