Someone in the Background

Got a situation next year our A Team Captain had done a good job this year
Like most Team Captains he has made a few enemies with selection
But someone else has put their name forward for the post
Its a challenge and is usually not done because there is always a vice Captain waiting to take over
This particular challenger is not that strong an individual and you can see what is happening
Someone had talked him into putting his name forward, but we all know who will be picking the teams
The chap who is in the background will be in control and settling old scores
Got the vote Friday we could have players leaving :(

Don't know why everything has got to be so personal, you will get people who stir in the background, but after a while they get found out
This sort of thing can cause a lot of unrest surly when a vote is taken it should be sorted:rolleyes:

Always get these power struggles at the end of the Season,
Makes a big difference to a Club when its only the A Team Captain who picks the team
Get some crafty individuals around who want to control everything and if they can get someone into the position of A Team Captain
You never know who's going into that team :rolleyes::rolleyes: makes you think

Going to scout around and ask a few people in the know if this is the case
Could be some stormy meetings ahead, be interesting to see how the men vote on having new tablecloths or curtains??????:D

There has got to be some setbacks to this Amalgamation thing, had a look at the Bowls England Site, should think it will be next year before we find out what exactly the changes will be couldn't find anything out:(

Wonder what would happen if the mens vote for Team Captain went ahead and it was illegal would they have to hold the meeting and vote again interesting thought

I personally cant see this happening you cant have Ladies voting on mens agendas or vice versa
This would split a club never mind bringing it together got a few chaps who are old women anyway they could talk for England

Nobody in their right mind would bring this rule in know we have had to

have our application forms for county and national comp on the same board

This Amalgamation between the men and woman feels like they want to keep us in the dark about what changes are being made
Have looked everywhere on the net its a bit of the same old thing if we dont like the changes it will be too late before we find out Nothing New There:(
