wont take new bowlers into Team

Played indoors Last Winter in some of the Mens League games

Had one particular team and all the players were very good

You ended up being thrashed every game, they refused to take any New Bowlers into their team

Every other Team would take beginners in, After a lot of complaints the committee introduced a handicap system to try and sort it out

Will be interesting to see what happens this year, last year this team just stopped playing,

Looked like Win at all Cost anyone else have this problem:roll:

Handicap system sounds a good idea, always get these good teams wouldn't mind that, but not taking any new Bowlers in, how is anyone going to improve if they don't play with better Bowlers :(

That was a ridiculous situation, have come across this myself you can feel the tension along the rink, if another team is giving the top team a bit of a run, its like winning the World Cup if you beat them Surfer8-)

Been in Clubs where you have a list of people looking to get into teams indoors
And then you get (The so called good teams)who are short of players
and they still wont take new Bowlers into the team
Should be something done at committee level to make sure new bowlers are taken into all teams
They pay their fees just the same as other Bowlers:)

Think its shocking if you got people looking to get into a team,

And a team short on players who wont give new bowlers a game

The committee should make a rule that any team short of players Must

give novice bowlers Games :rolleyes:
