Hello I am also new , I have just been accepted at my local bowling club, and am not sure what to expect, I know I shall have to have lessons but am dreading making a fool of myself, but it is no good sitting home I shall have to start getting myself out, I am starting to talk back to the television, wish me luck,

You sound as if you have been bowling a long time, i could use any advice one minute i think i am good, the next dreadful. somepeople are good all the time, how do they do it.???

You sound as if you have been bowling a long time, i could use any advice one minute i think i am good, the next dreadful. somepeople are good all the time, how do they do it.???consistency is the thing every bowler wants to achieve ,everbody i think goes through what your going through,and the answer is practice and maybe some coaching,and time on the green,is your delivery consistent? is your stance and balance ok,,,get the basics right and again, practice. :)

Im getting all the practice I can. Im sure it will click soon, I was the same with Golf - took a long time but then one day..... I could do it... very well!
