I've taken few snaps of my current club which is Somerton B.C. located in a beachside suburb of Adelaide. The photos might take a little time to load and sharpen up. These pics. were taken this afternoon when a mixed bowls 'Pairs' tournament was being played (Seniors only).
Will load more pics. tomorrow including the Umpire's gear.

Foxyone2 Wonderful Photos of Your Club
You don't know how lucky you are to have a Club House and Kitchen like this, I am going to get the camera out tomorrow and take some pictures of our kitchen where in summer and winter we make meals for 90plus i have know times when we have had to wash the dishes out side because of space.
We have been trying for years to get a new building but lawn bowls in the uk is badly underfunded.

One more of the club plus some umpiring gear.
No1. Is the rear of the clubhouse with the other two greens.
No2. One of the boxed umpire's kits.
No3. Rifle sight for 'lined' bowls and jacks.
No4. 30 metre fibreglass tape (about $25 in any good D.I.Y. store).
No5. Adjustable square, the adjuster knob is at the opposite end to the bowl and the spirit level can be seen going across the triangle. Like the majority of the equipment this was made by a member.

Some other umpire's gear.
No1. Is the mirror system used to determine whether a bowl or jack is in or out of the rink. Gradually being replaced by the rifle sight I showed earlier........much quicker and easier to use.
No 2 and 3. Are pics. of the Orbital Measure which locks a jack in position and then pivots around to measure individual bowls. If you are a student of Automobile history this is Henselite's equivalent of the 'Edsel Ford'!.
Whilst it is/was a brilliant concept, well engineered and extremely accurate it has fallen out of favour with umpires and clubs. Unfortunately it takes too long to set up and get the measure, it also requires umpires to have rock steady hands and nerves. Now has only a curiosity value as part of bowls history, (although I love playing with it but not when umpiring)!.:)

I should have mentioned that all of our greens are grass. They are a South African Hybrid Couch grass called 'Tifdwarf', a deep rooted variety which is drought resistant and is suitable for the warmer areas of Australia. They are even using it in parts of Victoria which is wetter and colder....couldn't resist saying this (LOL)!. It is grown from sprigs which are obtained when scarifying existing 'Tifdwarf' greens.

Very well equipped kit Foxyone. Not far off the quality and scope of mine!(will have to put up a picture of the contents of mine sometime.
With regard to the callipers, I have straightened the ends of mine to enable them to fit into a tighter gap (gives more of an overlap with the feeler gauges) so if it is a tight measure (about 10mm) I can choose either callipers or feeler gauges.

We must be way behind the times down here in Cornwall there are some bits of equipment in your photos I have never seen before,
Got to say I am not an Umpire but this looks like some top of the range equipment,
Thanks for that Foxyone2.

Shorts and Sunshine we can only dream of bowling in a Club like this and what weather, at present our Autumn is here and next it will be winter
with snow and frost, I don't think Bowlers in Australia realize that over here in the UK we are banned from bowling in Shorts Bowling Sandals and
tops must have sleeves, It is so ridiculous us girls end up with brown arms and the top half are white,
I sometimes wonder what sort of scandal it would cause to show the top half of your arms,

Never seen anything like the measuring equipment in you photos is this something that is only used in Australia or New Zealand,
Don't think this has reached the UK yet.

We can only dream about kitchens and clubs like yours the next time I have the camera down I will take a picture of ours,
When we cook meals it has been known for helpers to stand outside washing the dishes because there is no room,
Our Kitchen is more like a cupboard four people working in there and they start bumping into each other, but saying that we do manage,

Hi everyone from a very wind swept Cornwall they have just given out a sever weather warning,
Your Club looks briliant we have recentely been rejected for a grant to build a new club house and our is ready for falling down I am hoping the gale force winds do a lot of damage and we can claim on the insurance its the only hope we have of getting a new one,
Going to batten down the hatches and hope everything around the garden is still there tomorrow,
