Smoking?

What's the rules at your bowling club with regard to smoking?

I myself don't smoke, but at my club you can't smoke in the clubrooms or on the green. You can however smoke outside the clubrooms or on the banks of the greens.

Hi folks, banned smoking in the club house, a while back, and not allowed to smoke on the green, glad to say i don't smoke either,Surfer8-)

yep the club house is a healthy and cleaner place now since the smoking ban came into force,pity about the members though,their livers are in shreds with the amount of drink they swallow:rolleyes:

Glad they banned smoking in the club, had to do the bar one time for the cards, couldn't breathe, spent most of the time outside freezing it was really bad, Angel:( Most members go outside now seems to work.:D

Hi Wrong Bias, got a few members who prop the bar up, its the club doubles that do the damage, not sure some of them don't drive home after,Angel:(

Best thing the committee, has done in a long while,
Got a few people who moan, but they forget we had to put up with breathing their smoke,

Know its been banned, seen a few people smoking on the green,

No body says a word, think they are just plain scared to complain,

Its us against the world, but will admit i am trying to stop,

Club house is a lot better, now that smoking has been banned,

Problem is we a have wooden hut on the edge of the green,

And when we have something on, have noticed people are using this,

If we were to have a fire it could take the club house with it, got notices

up everywhere, Bit of a shame but the committee has decided to lock it,

Hoping this will solve the problem, they are still going to use it to smoke around, :(

Someone told me if is a club or County game you can smoke on the green, unless the club has a notice up.
But if it is a National game then smoking is banned when playing,
Not sure if this is the case, if anyone knows different let me know, Wetgear
