Its a great Bowling Tournament with a very challenging green and I am excited this is the first time in four years that I have managed to play in the singles every year I pay my entrance fee but some other bowling final has got to be played
I am keeping my fingers crossed will see if I can get a few pictures so wish me Luck I could be home by lunch or still there at tea time,

Best of luck Snapper,

Sounds great bowls in Newquay sunny Cornwall!

Expect you get use to it down there sun sea and bowls!

We have a few tournaments around similar money, but most enter for the competition a few years ago £1000 could be won for the singles now it's around £100!
Sign of the times,

Hope all is going well.

This year we had our Club Tournament at the beginning of the Season it was because last year they couldn't get enough bowlers to enter

It wasn't the same I hope next year they put it back to the end of August we still did not get enough bowlers to make it successful.

These tournaments are great fun but every club has cottoned on to the amount of money they can raise and we are getting swamped
Some clubs have realized this and are joining together and putting on one tournament between them two games played at one and semi finals and final played at another
