Hi all you Bowlers

I'm a Ex Pat living in the Spain and have only recently found your site of Worldbowler, we get a lot of Bowlers who come over here on Holiday and the biggest thing is they are asking for where can we get a game of bowls, and where are your Clubs situated so I am posting a list of clubs that you can contact, it might make it easier for people trying to book hotels.
Good luck in your competitions this Season,

Costa:D

Welcome Costa,

Trouble with Spain is that since you joined the Euro the feel of a reasonably priced holiday in the sun has lone GONE.
Went to Menorca couple years ago, Bowling green at the hotel, they wanted 7 euros each for 2 hours (nearly £7) what a rip off.
It didn't end there everything we tried to buy or do we felt as being Riped off.

We said never never again go to a euro based holiday.

Expect with all the finance problems around a lot of damage was done to the tourist trade, even if things have reduced out there it would take a lot for us to go there again!!!

We loved the people & climate, so not all bad!!!:cool:i

Keith, Need to give Spain a break. some great bowling greens. hopefully things have become realistically priced to attract the holiday/bowler makers
back!!!!!

They did lots wrong including all the millions of empty new homes, now there is an idea to solve our hosing problems!!!:D

Hi All Holiday makers,

Just spotted this table showing Spain is now the cheapest, I don't believe it!!

The table below shows how much a typical basket of good costs in various popular destinations (this runs from the cheapest to most expensive). The basket includes coffee, beer, cola, water, suncream, postcard and stamp to UK, insect repellent, cigarettes, English tabloid newspaper, and a three-course evening meal for two, including wine.

Of course if you really want to go to Espana for a bowling holiday then it has to be the Costa Blanca. At the last count there were 25 clubs North and South of Benidorm.
