It was resolved that from 2012 playing season the Ladies Johns Trophy to be played at
weekends.


Well girls what a breakthrough:D its about time we were treated the same as the men who have all their important games on Weekends, and the main bone of contention is Our County Competitions,
Us Girls work as well and have to use our holidays up if we want to enter County Competitions, we should get equal treatment but I suppose we have to be grateful for small changes.

This is great news and I know a lot of our members will be over the moon at this rule being brought in by Bowls England,

At my Club we run an evening triples league for unbadged ladies, because girls that work cant play in the Club league games which are all played in

the afternoon and I know one very talented Lady Bowler who cant enter County Competitions because they are all during the week

She said to me can you see my Bosses face if I wanted days off to play Bowls

Lets hope they bring more changes in

Agree its about time, will be a bit of difficulties with the 'old guard' we always played on those days!!!!

Hope the bit of aggro will not but the youngsters off!!
