A local bowler has been found guilty by his peers of poor 'Sportsmanship', which mainly include moving in eyeline (when big wood is being played), walking up after each wood then standing in spare rink, do you have anything like this in your club???

Think this is a man thing, only ever saw one lady bowler, doing this, it was only a club competition, and i was marking, she came half way up the rink and stood right in her eyeline, this bowler used ever tactic in the book, came off the green with a different opinion of this person, thought she was nice until then.:(

could be right Angel, haven't seen many ladies do this, seen a lot of so called good lady bowlers, running up the green after the woods, not sure why they do this, think they are trying to disrupt your consternation, i always think they are going to get so tired, all that running, :D:D think they should ban this.

I had this happen to me in a major singles competition and the marker had to warn the person I was playing. I think he was doing it to try and put me off my game.
The odd other times I have had bowlers (yes men) stand in my eye line, I have told them to stand back and they do.

You got it right, seen this happen, always on an important wood, even having to ask someone to get back behind the head, can lose you a game, dirty tactics, hate to win this way.

Seen all sorts of tactics, coughing, whistling, even heard of one Lady Bowler, if she was losing, would have a dizzy turn and have to get a glass of water and sit down, not fibbing, :D

Know a few senior bowlers, who's behavior is dreadful, nice people off the green, grow horns when they play, shouting falling out with other players,Feel sorry for this youngster, if he has had no trouble, and been bowling for five years, there is something wrong, did you approach the committee, to try and sort it out:confused:

This needs to be brought to the attention of the club captain, if you got a youngster behaving like this, there would be all hell to pay, why should someone of senior years get away with this, lucky to have young people playing:confused:

Something wrong here, if this lad has been playing for five years, and no complaint, why now, is this a case of jealously, some oldie worried about his place on the team.:(

Hard enough to get new bowlers, but young people, got to look after them, enough old codgers in our club, when we all pop our clogs, who is going to take over, if this treatment had been handed out to a seasoned bowler, it would not have been tolerated, think this club needs to sort itself out.
