Sport and England Rugby Team

How disappointing, we all know things like this go on with poor management, but the knock on effects cheap jokes etc have drifted into other sports, including our lovely game of Bowls.

Have played 2 friendlies this week and 1 representative game, on all occasions the 'Captains', speech had a joke at the expense of English sport and standards!! They were all very funny!! Do you know any good ones???

Looking forward to the Bowls/Rugby at the weekend, must go, off to an 'England Rugby' training camp!!!:D:D:D:D

Do agree with you very disappointing for the sport, hopefully it will be a good game of Rugby tomorrow, although you can't give much chance for an England Victory, got this awful feeling for the Poms that it will be a landslide victory to N.Z. (with all this going on what can you expect).

Just seen the 'Rob Andrew' briefing the media on the game tomorrow, he looked twitchy and well out of his depth!!!

Got to be money made somewhere, think the press should be banned from printing anything of this sort, unless complaints are filed, just watching the game at the moment our lads are not doing so well, no wonder with all this going on, nearly ten in the morning here.:confused:

Sad to think it takes this sort of gutter press, to get sport into the news, just heard the the players are coming home, because the alleged victim is not making a complaint, seems you can start any rumor you like, blacken these chaps names, and walk away with a good few pounds in their:confused: pocket.

Got to agree, if there were any truth in these allegations, charges would be brought, and complaints made, should be some sort of legal, challenge that could be made against people who make false rumors to the press, expect they could be taken to court for slander. :(

Yes it will be interesting, i thing these chaps, should not have put themselves in the position of being accused, they were sportsmen representing their country, if we can believe all we read, drinking girls and late nights is the last thing they should be doing before an important game, the same goes for the game of bowls.:(

Well the Lady has spoken about what happened via an in between person and explained why she's not laying charges.
Rape crisis also explained why.
The 4 players have been named and she's saying they all raped her and... Also it seemed it was her Doctor who reported it to the Police, not her boy friend.
They are saying she's telling what happened because she wants the correct facts out there.

Thats dreadful, can understand why the poor girl would not want that known, her name would have been all over the papers, her life ruined, chaps who do this sort of thing should be brought to justice, just real hard for the victim, know what i would do with them. :confused:
