Got a couple of players like that, just cant control their tempers, don't know what it is about bowlers, they change when they start to play, couldn't get nicer people off the green, guess its the competitive edge.

Know just what you are talking about, trouble is, selection is one hell of a job, where do you put players like this, if you drop them its wrong, if you put them in a team, they cause havoc, and you get a lot of complaints, any suggestions.:roll:

Doesn't your club have a Discipline commitee? If this ever happened at any of the clubs I have belonged to the matter would have been forward to the discipline commitee to handle.

Got a committee, this happens all the time, got one chap who is a committee member, reckon they are going to lock the door to stop him storming out, does it nearly every meeting, always comes back when he calms down, does a lot of work for the club, dreadful to play with, don't know the answer, you must be a lot calmer in New Zealand.

I remember at a tournament about 8-9 years ago someone swore at another bowler etc, don't know the full story.
But never saw that bowler again, seems the Disciplines commitee ended up expelling him from the club.

Wish we could do that over here, don't get a lot of bad language, but just throwing their toys out of the pram, bit like kids in theplay ground,:D:D

Could do with some of your rules over here, so worried about upsetting people , they let players get away with murder, need less talking and more action,

Think we have these sort of people in every club, very emotional game Bowls, think we need more stricter rules, problem is we are too nice, don't want to upset anyone, they spoil the game for everyone else,

Sometimes have got to bite my tongue, lot of goading goes on, when a team is beating you badly, get all the smirking laughing and high five handshakes, then the sly comment, got a couple of teams like that, like to see how they feel if the boot was on the other foot.

Think i know what BigBear, meant, its one thing to be annoyed with the opposition, if they are smirking when winning, its another to have your own team members falling out, and storming off, the green in the middle of the game, should not be picked to play, only answer.:(
You can tell if you are playing a team, where there is a bit of friction, played mixed pairs last year, husband and wife, they ended up swearing at each other as they passed on the green, knew we were going to win, at our club we call it the divorced pairs, not funny, a lot of couples should not play together,:rolleyes:

Had a couple at our club, married a long time, but every time they were on the green together, they fell out, everyone used to come to watch, awful atmosphere, would not have liked to have driven home with them, think he kept telling her what to do, and blaming her when things went wrong, not going to say anything,
