My Friend phoned me last night in a terrible state she was Skipping in the Ladies League and has now pulled out of all Bowling games,
So far her team haven't won any games and the team she is in just doesn't gel I'm not sure why but she has been very unhappy and has even broken down crying when she gets home,
You are supposed to enjoy your Hobby not be unhappy I think she should have gone and discussed it with the Lady's Captain before pulling out, now I wonder if she will ever get picked for any teams again,

Looks like its that time of year again, some teams never get on usually the Captain will notice and do something about it,
Your friend is unlucky for things to get so out of hand best thing she can do is keep going down her Club and make sure she lets selection know she wants to play next year.

Agree with Surfer, its that time of year, bowlers have played a bit too much & tired, little things seem to start a bit of friction, think you get it in all sports'

Bowling a could bit a bit more prone to it considering the age of our bowlers!!!!!

We had our Match Secretary storm out this weekend over a silly remark but before the offending Bowler could tell him he was only joking our Secretary was gone stomping out the door,

Took an awful lot of talking and apologizing to get him to reconsider taking the job on again

Mind he does resign about ten times every Season and does have a bit of a short fuse.

Still All Part of the Fun of Bowling

Sam short for Samantha;)

Hi Sam,
Lot of bowlers don't realize what a lot of work club officials do, trouble is often an off the cuff remark in fun has the wrong reaction, we get it in my Club often in August when everyone is a bit tired!!
