Hi Everyone,

A lot of young bowlers are taking up bowls in my part on the world.

It is very encouraging seeing how competitive the games are when you see the natural abilities of youth against experience!

Attached is a good photo of an under 25 team!

There's also a lot taking it up in NZ too and at the seconday School's. A lot of them are also very good bowlers.

I wish I had started playing Bowls when I had been a teenager, but I always thought it was a game for the retired?

Hi everyone, just started to play bowlers, love the game, always thought it was for older people, went down with some friends, and someone said have a go, its a lot more difficult that you think, lot of skill involved, got a long way to go before i get into the under twenty fives, playing for your county, i am in South West England, :p glad you like the pic:p

Brilliant picture, real action shot, like yourself i haven't been bowling long, takes a lot of practice, still trying, should have taken the sport up long ago, wish i was your age again,:(

Think a lot of Bowlers wish we your age again, i know i would have started a long time ago if i had know what a good sport it was, keep going lad, you'll get into the under twenty fives in no time, good luck:D

What a lovely, action picture, just caught the moment right, like the way you can see the players showing their emotion, feel like that when an opposition skip takes out our wood from the head and we go down big time.:confused:
