Hi guy's took a photo today of one of my local large clubs and have up-loaded it.
The fee's to join this club are too high for me at approx $270 a year where at my Club I only pay $100nz for a year.
Will try to take a photo of my club Mt Richmond at the weekend, took one today but it didn't come out right.:(

Looking forward to the pics, i have trouble with cameras, look like someone is trying to kill me when i get my pic taken, look like someone who would be on the old wanted posters in the wild west, will try and take a few myself, and put them on.;)

Silly me, i do apologias, thought you could not get the pics on, just realized it is on members photos, wonderful building and green, haven't got anything so grand, can see why membership fees are so high, but if too high could put people off joining, like a small friendly club myself,:D:Dr

Yes, sorry I didn't know how to put it here after I down loaded it to members photos.
Even though their fee's are high they have a very large membership, 276 - 166 men and 110 women full and life members.
Where my club has a membership of 85 full and life members.

Love the picture, some of our clubs are wooden porter cabins not very large at that, but we have great team spirit, and really enjoy our bowling, costs about fifty five pounds a year, not sure what that is in NZ money.

Hi guy's, thanks for your comments,
I had no idea that you had to book greens over there - never had that problem here. There's another club about 5 minutes away from this one at Pakuranga that has 3 Natural and 2 Artificial greens and a membership of 154.

What a wonderful club, all them greens, getting a free rink to play competitions, is a nightmare, you have to give three dates, with only three rinks in the club, it takes some juggling, we can if pushed play at another club but we do manage, very envious of your Bowling Club;)

Hi Crabie I never reliased there were clubs with only 3 rinks? The small clubs here in NZ have at least one green, which can have 7 or 8 rinks.

Lord no we only have one green, with three rinks, can only play one way, come for a small rural area, the club is called Stithians, in South West England,it has a playing field next door, we are trying to get a bigger green, am very envious on your clubs over there, do not think we have any two green clubs around ,
