Hi Surfer love the picture have a few ladies who challenge the dress code, one girl used to wear ankle brackets and leave the top button of her blouse open, it did put her male Opposition off,

Hi All,

Couple of years ago girlfriend of one of our younger bowlers followed the team on most games. To be kind she was a couple on stone on the + size and wore tight short skirts!! she sat at the end of the boyfriends rink, not sure who she put off the most!!!

You can imagine the comments etc, like many things the novelty quickly wore off & it and the team became a bit of a joke!!!

He has a new girlfriend now, thankfully we have not seen her yet!!!!!:D

Not sure about someone sitting with a short skirt on the end of the rink, I played this week when the weather was hot and we had one Players Husband who stripped off down to his shorts, Not something I enjoyed looking at he did look a bit pregnant with a large tum which had turned bright red wouldn't have minded but he had his bus pass
Do you think I should have complained about being distracted by unfair tactics.

Sam short for Samantha:p

Hi All,

Unfortunately for the 'gentleman' concerned there are no rules around spectator dress!!

For me I think the short skirt would be a preferable distraction!!

Hi Surfer,

Sounds a great place to live & bowl, always dreamed that when I retire, move to a place near the seaside with an active bowling club!!!
Not sure if the wife would be to keen on those scantly dressed spectators!!!:D

Hi Frankie,

Not sure of the statistics but moving to the seaside and living the dream, has a high failure rate!!!!

Joining a local bowling club must put the odds in your favour, but it would take some thinking about, fraught with risks!!:(

Mind you nothing ventured nothing gained!

We get a lot of People from up Country moving down to Cornwall they have this idea that life will be perfect,
Our Village has the post office two Pubs and fish and chip shop up for sale and it has been that way for some time, nothing is selling they were all bought by people who had moved down trying to improve their lifestyle, thing is if you already have problems moving is not going to solve them.
Need to think carefully before you invest in any Business in Cornwall there is little cash about,

Bet the midges in Perrenporth Bowling Club could give their Scottish cousins a run for their money, we are right beside the boating lake there are swarms of the beggars in the evening,
Get ever where little blighter's still haven't found anything that will stop them

Give up Bowling near boating lakes and stay indoors in the afternoon and evening
Only answer is to cover yourself in Insect spray Im still not sure if it makes them go away or attracts the midges ,

Supposed to be playing C Triples today and the sky is really dark still got to travel to the green hand around for an hour or two and then go home again,

Fed up already Angel:(
