Closing the Green because of Damage

Well Folks its only the beginning of our Outdoor Season and tonight our Mining League has been canceled because of the rain, knew it was too good to last had a couple of days sunny weather suppose thats it for a few months,
Our Green Keeper is going to close the green for all Roll ups because of the damage that has been done, One or two selfish players have taken chunks out of the green and we are all going to Suffer, there is all hell to pay but Our Green keeper is not going to back down, and only allow scheduled games,
Don't know what is going to happen expect there will be a Committee meeting or two to try and sort it out,

Can understand why a Green Keeper would be tempted to close a green played this week and some of our more mature Bowlers were taking chunks our of the green, I kept walking up trying to walk the divot's down hoping no one would notice I had a really bad game because of it,

Its so hard when this is happening do you say something and upset a Bowler or watch your green get damaged, I usually have a quiet word with someone who is in charge and let them deal with it,
