Just joined up so this is my 1st post. Im new to the world of bowls as a whole.Ive only played 3 games (won one of the three i might add!) in my life. Just gonna be looking for some hints and tips really!

Good to have you join us Ive been playing a good few years now and its a really great hobby I wish I had started when I was younger its one of those games where you will be good one day and rubbish the next, still dont know how some players are better than others,

Im 25 now and have started playing Weds nights but ive also signed up for Fridays and hopefully Saturdays....practice, practice, practice haha!

Yes practice is the thing, but don't forget your family, I know a few bowlers who have been given a choice......

What type of bowls are you playing?

You've done well to get a win from your first 3 matches. I took up crown green bowls way back when I was 14 and it took me around a dozen games before I chalked up my first win.

week sometimes more outdoors in the Summer and play Crown Green, my friends get a bit fed up because I cant do anything because I always

have games on, you are fairly young if you keep up this amount of enthusiasm you will be playing for your County, its like any sport Practice is
