Could you please tell me what draw is on different bias. I have bowls with 3 bias size 14 &15/16. Also what is the difference in bowls for lawn bowling and short mat.

Hi James,

The draw depends on the bowls manufacturer. You should be able to look up a draw line chart from the company that makes your bowls. Manufacturers usually produce charts like this http://www.thebowlswarehouse.com/drawlines.html to demonstrate the draw.

As for lawn and short mat bowls, there's not really much difference between the two, as they both tend to have a fairly wide draw. And as you can play short mat bowls with any type of bowl, it's purely down to personal choice.
