Too Many Games

Hi Bowlers

I don't know how Other Bowlers feel at this time of Year,but I am worn out with the number of Games that I have been Playing,
It would be Great if I felt that I could refuse a few games Without the Fear if I don't play I wont get picked for any future games,
Do Other Bowlers Think like this or is it Only in my Club where this happens,

Hi Angel,

Good post a lot of bowlers in my club are thinking the same especially the Ladies.

seems around our area several clubs are struggling for membership so those remaining are so s busy and if you are traveling its Very Very Expensive. my mates wife was 'Lucky' to be selected 3 times last week, coach trip, meal, green fees spent £70, still not so dear as some sports but not everyone can afford it!!!!:(

Then you have the inmates running the asylum, because now the bowlers are dictating which games to pick rather than the selection committee because there is no one to fill the places if the selection committee stood up to them!!!!!

Hi Everyone in Spain,

Off to Spain next summer with 2 bowling friends, staying near the town of Denia, we want to have a few informal roll ups amoungst our selves during the 2 weeks we are on holiday.

Can anyone recommend a couple of Clubs near 'Denia' we are hiring a car so don't mind traveling a reasonable distance & understand the green will be artificial!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish I could fly off to Spain would be first on the plane afraid the Old Wallet couldn't cope,
The Ladies Playing Indoors are Complaining about the Cost of playing County Games away it costs around £25 and thats without the petrol to get to the pick up point for the coach,
They think its only a question of time before Bowlers wont be able to afford to play,
